Parking in Kronberg's old town is limited, so early morning or late afternoon suits best.

Rheingau Wine Region. West along the Main and onto the Rhine, the Rheingau's vineyard roads between Eltville and Rüdesheim reward a car with real low-end torque. Wineries and riverside hotels here often have space for a supercar, though narrow village streets call for careful line choice.

Bergstrasse, the Castle Road. South of Frankfurt, the Bergstrasse threads past Heppenheim and Darmstadt with steady curves and long sightlines — comfortable cruising territory for a convertible on a clear afternoon. Fuel stops are frequent, useful on a full-tank return policy.

Middle Rhine Valley, Rüdesheim to Bacharach. Further west, the Rhine narrows between vineyard terraces and castle ruins, and the road tightens with it. This stretch suits drivers who want a proper handling car — a Lamborghini or 911 — rather than outright top speed, given the switchbacks near Bacharach.

Spessart Forest and Aschaffenburg. East of the city, the Spessart offers long, wooded sweepers with far less traffic than the routes closer to Frankfurt. It's a practical choice for a business traveller with a free afternoon before an evening meeting back near the financial district.
